Two youthful neighbours test their cooking skills on a difficult feat: dishes prepared with liquor. 17 year-old Claire is a food savant with a clear ability to inform the audience, while Julian, 22, provides comic relief as he just wings it.
Developed independently for network and co-production consideration, Off the Menu is a reboot of the formulaic cooking format. Mixing youth interest, real cooking skills, and scripted comedy, the show is a whole new take on the genre.
Note that the theme and format were chosen purely to convey the production value and talent of the cast. Off the Menu can be modified to suit any collaborator's mandate or vision.
